Current Projects 2009 - 2010

The Project involves a public/private sector partnership between the Government of Jamaica, represented by the National Road Operating and Constructing Company Limited (NROCC) and Transjamaican Highway, the local representative for Bouygues Travaux Publics – an international construction company from France – which was awarded the contract for development of the Highway. The development is being undertaken on a design, build, operate and transfer basis with Transjamaican Highway being granted a 35-year operating concession.

NROCC is responsible for all arrangements relating to the construction, operation, maintenance and financing of the project through the concessionaire, Transjamaican Highway.
